I asked, and my vendors want to eat in a separate room (except the DJ, who wants to eat at his DJ stand! I would probably do a separate table for them if they are going to be in the room. Otherwise, I'm sure their seats will be empty (like the photog, videog, and DJ) most of the night.
By the way, I think the officiant is a different story- perhaps that person should sit with other guests. But I wouldn't really consider them a "vendor."
Check with the reception venue to see how they do it. We fed our vendors but I have no idea where they sat. Lucky for us the site coordinator set all of that up.
My DJ ate in his "booth" and ate the "vendor" meal that my venue offered.
My photographer and his assistant sat at a table with my guests per his request, my DOC also sat at this table -- both insisted on eating the same meal as my guests, not the "vendor" meal.
My Reverend was a friend of mine, so he also sat at a table. with other guests and ate the regular meal.
I didn't have any other vendors.
I would definitely ask your vendors what they prefer. I feel like if I were working at an event, I'd like to eat in private... where I could feel free to relax a bit. I only had 2 vendors (photog, 2nd shooter) so I sat them at a guest table with people that were the same age as them and shared similar interests, but if I had had more, I'd have checked to see if they wanted to eat privately or in the same room as the guests.
I had an extra table set up (without a centerpiece) for my vendors. We had stations, so the vendors ate the same food as the guests. I think the band ate by their equipment. I'm not really sure if our other vendors (two photographers and the videographer) ate at the table set up for them or just ate standing somewhere. I didn't really notice, but the table was available if they wanted it.
Just ask their preference. I had 5 and asked them and they wanted to be seated in a different room, so my venue coordinator set that up. Our 10 piece band is full of people we know, so they got their own table with the rest of the guests.
Just wondering what vendors would need meals?

Who else?
Our DOC and her assistant. Our photographers are a married couple so that's 2, we have an emcee and DJ, and an acquaintance is doing the guest book from phtobooth photos as the night progresses (so technically not a "vendor" but we are giving her a stipend for helping). And that reminds me - the phtobooth set-up guy - these meals are adding up!!

Did you have a table where all vendors sat at your reception for their meal or did you place them at various tables with other guests?
