Thanks for the review! I was watching Ace of Cakes last night and I was convinced that I want to order a grooms cake for my Fi for our NJ reception! I'll check her out!
Lets just say that it was about 1/3 of what I was expecting to spend.
I just called and they were super nice! I think I'll order from her soon! I can't wait thanks so much for the recommendation! An I love your R2D2 cake...its on her website!

I wanted a R2D2 cake as a surprise for the hubs at the rehearsal dinner. My hairstylist recommended her friend Jennifer Bunce at Hudsoncakery.com. His favorite is white cake with white frosting, total snoozefest. But I ordered it from her. Her prices were AMAZING and the cake looked MUCH better than pics I had provided to her.
And then I tasted it.
I am a total foodie/cook/baker and I have NEVER tasted anything like this before. She does not use any margarine or shortening, only real butter. I feel bad for the cows working overtime for my cake. It was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. I honestly did not know cake could taste so good. And I don't even like vanilla.
I went from table to table at the reahearsal dinner eating leftover cake. It was that good.
A month after the wedding, I was telling this story to a friend who doesn't like cake at all. I convinced her to try some frozen leftover R2D2. She was converted. I can't wait to order from her again.
