For those of you who are looking to hire a calligrapher, I would definitely recommend Shannon Chandler in Georgia.
She is very easy to work with, totally accessible and her calligraphy is gorgeous!!!!
In addition to hand addressing all of my invitations, she stuffed, sealed, hand canceled and mailed out all of my invitations.
All of my international guests have received their invitations and people have been telling me how beautifully addressed the envelopes were.
In addition to hand calligraphy, Shannon does machine calligraphy as well.
Here’s the link to her website: http://www.shannonscalligraphy.com/

I am in search of a calligrapher – thank you so much for posting this info…I went to the gals website and while she offers several machine fonts it appears she only offers two fonts of hand calligraphy – I am navigating myself to the correct page. Her prices are also very similar to several calligraphers I have found…They must be template prices, lol. May I ask how many invitations you had done as well as if you had a hand written font or machine printed font?

@jackie-o, I hired Shannon to hand address 143 invitations. My invitations included both inner and outer envelopes, plus she also wrote out the return address on the outer envelope for each of one of our invitations.
She addressed all of our invitations with handwriting style #2.
I think that she offers three different styles of handwritten calligraphy but I remember that I used the second style.
We used machine calligraphy for our response cards – my mom didn’t want people trying to invite extra guests so we had her fill in the names of the guests who were invited onto the response card.
The price included her stuffing/stamping/hand canceling and mailing the invitations to me which was a HUGE bonus as I work a fair amount and I knew that I wouldn’t have the time/energy/patience to actually stuff all 143 of the invitations.
