I love knowing somebody who used them... they are actually on my list but I haven't known anyone who used them, I just ran across them through a google search and wrote them down, I will definately probably do a trial with them! :)

Youre welcome! Definitely do a trial, it is well worth it. Maybe you can do one for your engagment shoot :) It is less money if you go to them for the trial but they will come to you as well!
It says they only do trials after 5:00 though, our engagement session is at 3:00. But that would be great (but also way before our wedding don't you think it would be too soon?)... anyways I had a quick question for you... do they do airbrush do you know?
Im not sure if they airbrush - I did not have it done, they used almost all MAC products. Id give her a call or send her an email (Andrea, the owner, has a new baby so she might respond super quick) and ask. They were pretty flexible on the preview day and time - mine was a Monday at around 1pm I think.
I tried to make an appointment with them, but they were completely booked the weekend of my wedding :( So plan ahead and give them a call really early if you want to have them do your hair/make-up!
One of those weddings is my fault, shes booked for my SIL who I recommended to them :) Sorry! Did you find someone else already? She was very helpful in recommending other stylists for my friends wedding when she was booked for hers. I can get you their info if you are still looking for someone.
Maybe I will be giving them a call sooner then later! :) I would love to do my preview before my engagement session but I'm not thinking it will be possible if my engagement session is August 21... and don't you think that's a little soon for a trial if I'm getting married April 17?
It might be a little soon, plus I think she is out on maternity leave until the 21st...Definitely call and set something up though, it looks like her calendar online is all open on your date.
I second the raves on Something Blue!! Andrea is fabulous and had my maids and mom looking great. Plus she's really, really nice!!!

Andrea actually emailed me this weekend and she seems so nice! Even with all the new baby stuff she still made time to write me a long fabulous email explaining some things to me.
I'm definately planning on using them for my wedding.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share some vendor reviews from my wedding with everyone. I used Something Blue Stylists for my hair and makeup. They are located in Dana Point but travel to wherever you are getting ready.
I worked with Andrea and Shayna, Andrea did all of our hair and Shayna did everyones makeup. Both did a fabulous job and I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out. They arrived early and began to set up. We were supposed to be done at 2:30pm (started at 10) and they finished almost an hour early! We did hair for me (the bride), 4 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and flower girl. We did makeup for me, 4 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and mother of the groom. Everyone looked fantastic and they were all super happy with the makeup and hair. One of my friends is getting married in October and she decided right after she got her hair and makeup done she wanted Andrea to do her wedding too! My hair stayed curled and my makeup lasted all day and night, not one thing rubbed off, including my long fake lashes. I have already recommended Andrea to several friends who have booked with her and would not hesitate to continue recommending her! Amazing, amazing job...
