HI !!!! We have similar stories…i’m late too, and all BFN’s so far.  What makes you think you’re preggo besides being late? I had VERY light spotting 9 days after my oops moment, which was CD19…aand lasted on and off until the following week.

I also called my Dr today, when the nurse called me back she said I am probably not pregnant because of the BFN’s, but they don’t allow blood work until 10 days after a late AF…ok…so you’re saying I COULD be pregnant than? lol

so annoying! I go away this saturday so looks like no bloodwork for me.

I’m POAS tomorrow morning. AGAIN.

@Treejewel19:  I think I replied to your other thread that I was late but kept getting BFN with HPTs. When I went to the dr and explained that I was on NuvaRing he told me that if the tests said negative then I probably wasn’t pregnant and I just missed my period because of the nuvaRing. I told him that I knew I was pregnant and wanted a blood test and he didn’t put up a fight. And I am pregnant.

That’s super weird… I’m not even trying to get pregnant and I’ve been offered blood pregnancy tests multiple times from my former care provider, practically unsolicted, just because I came in for something else and “we should make sure… are you sure there’s NO WAY you could be pregnant?”

@BellaDee:  well I read that they won’t let you, but you should demand it or just wait till right at the ten days. my dr didn’t believe me either

If you go to privatemdlabs.com you can order your own tests for a labcorp location. Then go to the labcorp website or call and set up an appt. Can do this with any tests listed. There are also coupon codes. Fertility testing wasn’t covered under my insurance so I had to do that for progesterone tests. My doctor was more than happy to see me for hcg beta tests though, most likely because I was on fertility drugs prescribed by her. Go figure my insurance would cover those tests but not progesterone. eye roll.

I didn’t have issues getting them ordered from my OB. I did have to ask though; she did not automatically send me off for one. That said, I’ve heard Kaiser can be kind of crazy in terms of being unwilling to send people off for testing and whatnot. I personally have a PPO.

I’d put in a complaint. That is absolutely unacceptable behavior from someone that is supposed to be helpful and supportive. That’s completely ridiculous, and I’m sorry you had to deal with that.
