Since my wedding I have had nothing but problems with my video/photo company.
Communication has been very poor since the wedding. Usually I need to call (which goes to voice mail) or send 2 emails before I get a response. The emails are usually sent about 2-3 days apart during the week.
I just went on facebook and now I see red. They just posted a video trailer from 6 weeks after my wedding. Where the F&*K is mine? I am so livid.
My other grip is the thank you cards. Not only did the process take 4 weeks (due to poor communication) but when I finally received them 9 days ago my husbands head was cut off. My husband contacted the owner, I send a picture of the card and we were told that the printing company made an error and will be reprinting. Now a week later I haven’t heard anything. This should have been a rush order (only 50 were needed) and delivery would have been next day since the printing company is only 1 state away. I am getting very embarassed that I still haven’t send out the cards.

@loveus: That’s a MESS. I would cancel the TY card order, and just send out hand-written notes at this point.

Did your video/photo company state a “deadline” in their contract (like, 4-6 weeks? 2 months?) Is it shown anywhere in your e-mails with them? Can you leave them a Facebook message?
As for the Thank You’s, if you can’t get a firm tracking number on when they’ll be delivered in the next couple days, I’d recommend getting a generic box set of cards and handwrite the notes to your guests.

As expected, no communication about a tracking number. The cards should have been delivered late last week.
Yes, we have a deadline. I also find it very insulting that he posts trailers for weddings after mine and I am still waiting.
I just called and left a message with someone at the office. Lets see if I get a call back. Very weird that they don’t know when he would be in. He is always in! If I was a new client or had to pay a deposit he would have time for me.
