Just want to say how frustrating wedding planning could be!! How could such a simple task as providing invoice information to the vendor would drag on forever?? I’m planning on getting a few rental items from the venue. According to their policy, they will have to rent them on my behalf since they want to control the flow of vendors. Well, this is not a problem for me since I already know ahead of time what I needed. I even contacted the vendors ahead of time to make sure they have the inventory, and place it before it’s out of stock.
The problem is – my venue’s manager keeps dragging on to complete this task for me. Only to simply let them know the delivery and pick up schedule. It’s been TWO months (many follow up emails), and I feel like I’m in a position where I dno’t want to jeopardize our working relationship – if I want to have a great wedding.
The vendor already reached out to her to confirm, because they are also working with another client, and they’d hate that I’d be missing out on the request.
At this point, this is just beyond my control and I seriously can’t wait until after the wedding so I can stop dealing with these folks.
