The venue that we were planning on holding our wedding has been taken away from us. We were to have it at a friend’s home (for free) and because of their marital issues, out of spite for his wife, the husband told us to find a new venue.
We are less than 2 1/2 months away from the wedding date.
Isn’t that a doozy!?!
I’m staying positive and luckily someone has offered us their home for the wedding. I am so blessed and just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel ladies.
We just received our wedding invitations yesterday when we found out the news. Luckily we haven’t sent them out and are able to get the main part of the invitation reprinted.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Obviously we weren’t meant to get married at that location.
Pressing on! Rolling with the punches

Yikes! I’m glad you’re rolling with the punches, but what a spiteful thing to do!

That sucks, but glad things are working out in your favor!

Oh my gosh! I’m glad it’s working out for you. One of my best friends was a few weeks out from her wedding when the venue got sold and the new owners no longer wanted to host events in the space, gave her back her deposit, and told her to cancel. Never fun to have to deal with something like that.

Oh no, that’s rough. At least it’s not two and a half weeks until the wedding! And that’s great that you haven’t sent out invites yet!

At least you can save on the dinner costs of the husband, to offset the reprinting costs slightly 🙂

Be happy! You wouldn’t want to get married in a house of marital negativity! Blessing in disguise!
