So i had the most unfortunate happening with the venue for my ring ceremony and reception. I’ve already sent out the invites and have gotten most of my RSVPs back already (they were due back April 10). My wedding is in 2.5 weeks.
The venue i booked months ago turns out had also booked a medieval faire on the day of my wedding and didn’t tell us. i found out about it a few days ago and i was so upset! how tacky is having a medieval faire at your reception!? we ended up getting a full refund and were able to book at an even BETTER place because it was such short notice. but now i need help with how i should tell my guests that the venue has changed.
I was thinking i would only send information to the people who have RSVPed and said they are coming. What should i say? i don’t want to sound too negative, but i want it to be light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!
