Hi all, me and my fiance are trying to figure out a venue that we can fit a guest list of 300. We dont want to do it at a hotel or just a generic banquet hall. We have looked a quite a few options but with a guest list this size its hard to stay in budget and get enough room. Has anyone ever had a reception at the City Museum. We checked it out the other night and it was nice. In the Architectural Hall is where we looked. However the light seemsd dim and wonder if this was a problem for anyone else. As well as the noise from the AC. My parents were concered of these two things but more so the fact that their is no distinct parking for the guest and they dont want them to have to pay for that as the security of WASH Ave. It is also open to the public which is wierd not sure how I feel about that. We have looked at other venues like the Grand Hall owned by Russos, Moulin, Zoo, History Museum and MAC. We liked all of these but the last 2 are rather expensive for our size party. We are looking for something different or something that we can make our own for our special day!
Help if you have any advice on the City Museum we are planning for Fall 2014. Or any other venue maybe that we havent thought of.
