@Usuki: My first thought is to go with Venue #2 because of their communication.  That is such a plus.  BUT, the privacy and  seclusion of your #1 choice, made it the winner in my book.  I would go with #1 based on that fact.

Wait a minute, you’re getting married April 8 of THIS year?  As in, 10 weeks from now? How big of a wedding are you having? Have you given venue 1 any kind of deposit yet?

Personally, I prefer venue 2, as it looks nicer.  However, getting married right next to a public pool can be pretty crappy, especially that time of year (spring break time, right?)  So ultimately I’d go for the more private location.

We usually go to Myrtle Beach, SC every Spring Break, and I can tell you that #2’s pool will be swarmed by loud, obnoxious kids.  Although I prefer the appearance and cheaper price of #2, I think the private aspect of the first venue is more important.  It’s beautiful, too, and the cozy theme will be very romantic for you & your FH!

@Usuki:  ok, whew!  You gave me palpatations, girl!

PP is right on the pool thing.  I’d go for venue 1.

I would definitely go with the one with more privacy and maybe once you put money down there will be more communication. Even though it shouldnt be that way, they might be more helpful and more accommodating. I just feel you dont want strangers walking through or making too much noise during that moment.
