Here is the motherload of NEpa and pocono wedding venues compiled by my MOH and wedding planning guru. Good luck and happy planning!
the strousmoor– gorgeous out door and in door ceremony sites. This is where my MOH got married, and I was in the wedding it was amazing. They do everything for you
Skytop– outdoor cocktail hour is breathtaking, the grounds, the whole place is beyond amazing. We were there when a wedding was going on and the florist there made the most beautiful boquets and arrangements i ever saw. They are also flexible and the wedding planner is a doll.
Lodge at Mountain Spring Lakes- gorgeous lakeside ceremony site and beautiful reception site, I also liked that they offer a signature drink and that there are plenty of affordable beautiful cabins for guests to say in. I also thought the wedding planner was awesome and was very very flexible. the other huge plus is that they only hold one wedding at a time and they really focus on your day. I heard the food is awesome too.
Flagstaff– this place is in jim thorpe. the views are incredible. We thought that they had a weak outdoor spot which would require alot of decorating. the manager was nice and the space was a little too big for us. The prices were very very reasonable. its biggest downfall was it needed repairs.
Here are some places we didnt look at that I have heard great things:
The Inn at Pocono manor– we did a drive by. this place was totally booked for the fall when we called so we didnt look at it, but I have heard alot of good things about the place and it was very nice on the outside.
Shawnee– another pocono site, we didnt look at but it also looks really nice.
Fernhall Innn– this place is in Clifford, again it looks beautiful on the internet. I really wished we looked at it, but I think we didnt because we would have had to have a tent wedding because it would fit as many people as we were having. But again, I wish we looked at it.
Bear Creek- we talked to them at a bridal show and tasted their yummy apps.
Raddison–I’m getting Married here in October in the lobby rather than the ball room. The planner Cindy is amazing, the whole wedding planning experience with them has be great. The food is unreal. Getting married on a friday evening and taking advantage of the 15% food and bev discount! I’m SOOOO excited.
Ramada Inn in Clarks Summit — nice people, they also have an outdoor cocktail hour and prices are really very reasonable. But it’s overlooking a highway, and a regular hotel ballroom.
Nicolas Village– again, the prices are reasonable and they said it was very nice, but small
The Woodlands — nice– but I cant remeber the details
The best western eastern mountain inn — also they said it was very very nice and I cant remember why it wasnt a go.
Also the Highlands and Newberry estates.. they said the small room was yucky but the larger room was very very nice.
Erharts beautiful and recently renovated. On lake Wallandpaupack(spelling?)
Parish center in dunmore. Its a church hall, but its very very nice inside.
colorusso’s– i heard it really nice in there and the food is really good.
There also the greenridge club, I heard that the room is very narrow, but I have never been in there.
Colonade– new small, tented cocktail/dance floor
French manor– i am obsessed with this place, but you also have to have a tent wedding if you have over 60 people. but this place is awesome.
Settler’s Inn– another place I loved but it had a max of 120.
Waterfront in Wilkesbarre— I’ve been to the bar at this place, its pretty and they have cheap wedding packages.
