I am with you!!!   My budget is between $5,000 and $6,000 and I have no idea how I am going to do it and I even have less guests than you do!!!  I am looking at having my wedding in the same area as you.  I have a venue list on my desktop computer, I could send you some if you want to e-mail me  (I'm not at my desk).

Since we have the same budget and are having our weddings in the same area, perhaps we can share vendor information and help each other.  Just a thought because I could use some help on how to stay within this budget as we can't afford to go over.  I am sure you could use some help too maybe?  I'm full of ideas as well!

WOW, I have just found this "local" area on the Bee. I am getting married here in Daytona Beach and was so lucky to find my venue - they don't advertise and therefore prices are very reasonable. We are having our wedding on the beach and then the reception on the large pool deck (with very cool fire pit and circle benches) at the Grand Seas Resort. They do have the dreaded plan B - but their price per person is soooo reasonable (even to include the wine/beer bar)

We have 70% of our guet's coming from Ohio, so everyone is staying there as well.

If you haven't yet found a spot, let me know and I can give you the food/bev manager, who is not only responsible for their yum food, but also setting up the reception areas. She just got married herself 3 years ago, that is how I found her, an old post I read.

My now husband and I paid for our wedding ourselves..everything from the dress to the building! We got a limited amount of photos on a disk. We would love to have a wedding album but they are around $200 threw our photographer...she is having a photography contest that ends tonight FEB 10th at 8pm. If we can get the most likes on our photo we will win the album of our choice and a photo session!!
