So I’m currently stressing about a venue – any help is MUCH appreciated.
Our families are pretty spread out – so we are open to numerous locations and their surronding areas:
- Cleveland, OH (east or west side)
- Mentor, OH
- Beachwood, OH
- Chardon, OH
- Shaker, Mayfield, Richmond, or Cleveland Heights, OH
- Parma, OH
- Solon, OH
- Geneva, OH
- Conneaut, OH
- Ashtabula, OH
- Jefferson, OH
- Erie, PA
- Girard, PA
- Edinboro, PA
- North East, PA
- Jamestown, NY
- Lakewood, NY
- Ripley, NY
Wedding date is not set yet (because we’re open to various dates depending on the availablilty of the venue.) Mid-to-Late November, December, Early January time.
I don’t want your typical venue. (banquet hall, party center, etc.)
I want a place that I can have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception indoors.
I am searching for an industrial type venue, wood beams, exposed brick, large windows. (Ideally, I would like accomodations on premises or within a few miles.)
I’ve looked at literally hundreds of places online, however I guess the 2 that are most fitting to the idea I want are:
The Ariel International Center in Cleveland, WHICH IS STUNNING – however, they charge you for the venue, every glass, every fork, every linen. I’d be looking at $6,000 minimum… BEFORE food.
and Windows on the River, which is also a very nice venue. But something just seems off about it. I’ve heard very mixed reviews.
I’m open to ANY type of venue that may have that industrial, unique feel to it. Budget wise, obviously the cheaper the better – but I’m realistic on the prices of a wedding.
MANY, MANY THANKS!
