that's quite a long ways away. you're essentially having a destination wedding. i attended a wedding in Illinois and it was an hour and 10 minutes away and we had to leave early so we weren't driving home at 1am but even so, a brucnh wedding is still really early. Even if you stay the night most of your guests likely will not since it's most of your guests. I just think that's kind of a ways out there if everyone pretty much lives where you live

Am I crazy for having my ceremony and reception an hour and a half from where we live, as well as from most of our guests? Both the ceremony and reception would be held at the same place. We are planning a brunch wedding, which means we would have to be ready for pictures really early. However, I am planning on staying overnight with my bridal party the night before to cut down on time that morning. But this means having to find vendors in an area I am not familiar with - but then again, I am not too familiar with the vendors that are in my area. Any thoughts or words of advice? Thanks hive!
