Hey Everyone!  I'm new here, found the site while looking for information on Pelican Beach clubhouse which turns out to be more popular than I thought =)

As you probably already figured, Pelican Beach clubhouse is one of my choices right now.  I'm just not sure if I want to use it.  It's small, but workable so that isn't really the concern.  The concern is the distance my guests along with myself will have to drive to get there.  That's pretty much the only thing I'm concerned/worried about.  The price is awesome and I would love to have a ceremony on the beach and then a quick walk to the reception at the clubhouse.

Does anyone know of any places like this located at other beaches?  Perhaps Daytona or NSB?  Both those beaches are closer to where we are.  I've been searching, but haven't had any luck.  Maybe someone else has?

I don't have to get married on the beach.  I would love to, but it's not a must.  I am on a budget and need to find a place to have my ceremony and reception.  I would like to have both of them at the same location or very close to each other.  My ideal location for the wedding would be anywhere between Daytona Beach and Orlando.  (I'm in Apopka)   The problem is everywhere I find wants a lot of money!  Or if the price to have it there is decent then they want you to use their caters and it's like $40 and up per person.  I can not afford $40 plates and there will be kids there and I just can't justify paying $40 or more for a child who may or may not eat and if they do then certainly wont eat all of it. 

Anyone have any ideas of places?  Here is what I'm looking for -

• Around and between Daytona Beach and Orlando
• Low cost rental fee
• Allowed to bring your own food in
• Plenty of time for set up, wedding and break down (another plus to the Pelican Beach clubhouse for allowing 8AM - 1AM usage for $300.  No the wedding wont be that long, but it gives PLENTY of time for setting up including last minute changes in set up as well as wedding and then take your time cleaning up)

So can anyone offer some places to have my wedding at?  I would surely appreciate it.  THANK YOU!

hey, thanks for replying.  I was starting to think I was the only bride in Central FL still left on here, lol.  I have checked out Paradise Cove already, it is nice. 

I just like a lot of aspects of the clubhouse, just hate the distance that my guests will have to drive so was looking for something very similar to what they offer.
