@MissTX: Awesome deal! You'd pay at least twice as much for all of that in the DC area.
@MissTX: Thats sounds pretty good!! How much would bar be extra (if you are getting one)? And if you dont mind me asking, where is this venue and are you in texas? I'm curious because we are still looking for a venue :)
It sounds amazing because everything is included! A lot of times when people say they are paying for the venue they are just talking about the space.
As long as you are happy with their centerpieces, DJ, etc then yea! it's an amazing deal!
I mean, I thought so based off of venues in the area and what they are offering vs what these guys are offering.
@misschickpea: I'll tell you where it is ONLY because I notice your date is in November and mine is in May...hahah...but it's in Houston, called Demers Banquet Hall. It's not the "DREAM" venue I have in mind if I say, didn't have a budget. But the fact is a do have a budget and I think bang for your buck is important...right? I live in SA though and Austin is right around the corner, I hear Austin has some amaaaazing venues!!
Thats amazing!!!!!!! Just my venue, food (5 courses, sit down, apps and midnight stations) and premium alcohol cost $48K for 250 ppl. NOTHING else included. Im not a fan of buffets tho so that I expected to pay more for (5 courses served).
That's amazing!! How many guests are you having? You are so lucky not to be having a New York wedding...a wedding in NYC is about $200+ per guest, I'm getting married in Long Island which is slightly less but still pricey...and I have about 400 guests...ugh...
@Diana R.: Im in Toronto, Ontario and its the same here. EVERYTHING is insanely expensive. Just my photographer is $7K!
@justmoi22: Me too!!! Haha. Sometimes I feel like this one day is such a huge waste of money..(don't tell my parents or FIL's I said that haha)
@Diana R.: Me too! Did you get yor dress at Kleinfelds? I wanted to go but my mom was too sick
@justmoi22: No I got it at Pronovias. Kleinfeld's seemed way too pricey and I didn't want to tempt myself since everything else in my wedding was so expensive haha. But everytime I watch Say Yes to the Dress, it makes me want to go there...
@MissTX: LOL good call! Yeah, we have some amazing venues here, BUT, most of them are also AMAZING-ly expensive!! Mines going to be a bit out of town more than likely! I will definately check yours out though since most of my FI's family is in Houston!
Around 100 guests...Hahaha wow everyone voted YES!! Looks like we need to pull trigger soon ;) SOON AS I GET THE BLING BLINGGGGGG <3 lol ugh
@MissTX: Wow, that's a great deal. Lucky you!
That is an amazing deal for everything!
We're doing an all enclusive package as well, and it's saving us so much money all around. And, it's nice that there's less people involved with the wedding... less stress!
Wow this is a great deal. I am jealous! I live in Soutthern California, so needless to say everyhting is rediculosly expensive! Blah!
break it down to a per person price: $8800 / 100 guests is roughly $88 a person. Whereas my wedding budget is $25000 / 250 guests which is $100 a person. So i would say you are getting a good deal. A lot of places don't include as much as you are getting. For example I have to bring in outside vendors for all of my chair covers, center pieces, decorations, dj, cake, etc. So I would def say that is a good deal. I would take a good look at it though and make sure there is nothing else that you will have to bring in yourself because that will make your "per person" price go up if you end up having to get a cake / alcohol / etc. I also noticed that that price doesn't include alcohol. Make sure you price that before you sign with that place, that is if you plan on having alcohol at your wedding. I've seen place charge $10 - $25 a person for alcohol!
I don't know what prices run in your area, but that sounds fantastic. Another BIG plus is the all-inclusive aspect- you're going to save yourself a lot of time and have a lot less stress that way. We've seen venue rental costs range from $1,500-6,000 in our area- some but not all including chairs & tables.

I have a different photographer so they told me they would edit the price of the package because honestly I saw the photos and I was notttttttttttt impressed at all lol. So I got really lucky and am using someone else :) BUT...for all of that...I'm thinking that's an awesome price! They have other things I can add as well, like uplighting, monogrammed lighting, chocolate fountains, fruit trees, ETC. What do you guys think? I just want to get a feel for what other people have included in their venue rental because I see ladies saying they paid 1500 or 2500 for their venue and my jaw is dropped to the floor! I just wonder what's included. Thanks for your input girls :D
