(Closed) Venue response time?

I only called places and they picked up right away to answer my Questions.

Two weeks seems like a long time.  Unless you have your heart set on one of those places, I’d move on.  If they can’t get back to you, they may not be worth your business.

My venue emailed me within two hours. If it takes them two weeks to contact you when they are trying to win your money, just think how unresponsive they will be once they have it…!!

I also found that a lot of places are more responsive over the phone than email, but like you, I would take unresponsiveness as a bad sign of how they make work with you as a customer. Try calling–the culture where they are may just not be an email culture. Just know that if you hire them, you will probably need to deal with them by phone (assuming that they are responsive by phone).
