I feel for you! My fiance and I had to pull our deposit and cancel our venue 16 days before ur wedding, because of lack of communication and because they were charging us for things that didn’t make sense. We weren’t even going to get out complimentary suite at the end of the night, and they weren’t going to tell us; I had to ask.

If there is a way, I would go down and talk to them face-to-face and get everything sorted out. They can’t take a month to respond then! So unprofessional.

Can you go in, in person and talk to them? Hard to ignore you when you’re standing in front of them.

Have you considered mentioning their lack of stellar communication to them? Perhaps put it in a way like “it has been rather difficult to get in touch with you and tie up loose ends, and as my wedding day approaches, this makes me a little nervous,” something sort of like that..? I say this, but I’m not the least bit confrontational myself! I’m sorry to hear about their lackluster service, but do you know anyone else that has had any kind of event there recently? Any new reviews up on WeddingWire to help you get an idea?

Hope you’re able to get in touch with them, I’m sure your day will go smoothly and be everything you want it to! 🙂

KaleighMarie:  Ohhh gosh, that’s hard!! It’s always unfortunate when places/people turn into divas when constructive criticism is sent their way. Very unprofressional!

Do you still have a lot of details to iron out with them? What have other people said about their services?
