I think the general rule of thumb is that your venue rental and catering costs should not be more than 50 % of your total budget... if that helps too.

my catering actually came up to 1003 and that includes assort teas coffee salad breadsticks chicken parmesean steak strips alfredo mash potatos and vegtable meldy :)

How do you decided on a venue and one that is worth the amount?? i found one venue i get a outdoor cermony and indoor reception the table and chairs are included for the reception and the chairs for the outside also a guezibo to get married under its a nice location has a pond and lots of flowers do you think 1475 is a good price my location is 32351
