Not sure if you have booked anything yet...we decided to go with the hotel since alot of guests are from out of town, we are doing it at the Rennissance suites in southpark. i just love the feel of the hotel. But if you wanted to go another route i really really liked these venues....

I'm a Native Charlottean and living in MD. It's definitely hard trying to see every venue online...I'm trying to narrow my list of venues to visit the next time I'm home...
What venue did you pick for your reception? Which ones didn't you pick? And, of course, why?
I've seen Extravaganza Depot (it was too "warehouse chic" for me, but it's a nice venue) and that's about it. Right now I'm all over the place, definitely watching the budget...but, for approx 250 expected guests I'm looking for the best bang for my buck and not necessarily the cheapest!
