@Chelys21:

We can make the dress in just about any color, except the sequins for the skirt can come in off-white only 🙂

After a lot of research I decided to order my dress through Jasmine’s bridal for the Gemma ‘inspiration’ dress. I went to the London Vera Wang Brown’s store and fell in love with it when I put it on. Funnily enough I thought that I would love the blizzard beading but the dress, in my opinion, looked better without it. But there was no way on this planet that I could justify a £5500+ price tag.

Even though Jasmine’s price tag is a bit more than some of the other replica sites that I looked at, the feedback of their fine work has been the most consistent. So I decided to go for it.

I ordered designer grade materials and premium craftmenship.

I literally just sent through my measurements this morning to Lisa – who is my assigned consultant – and am excited and scared at the same time. I will post progress of this dress as it comes along.

The top is the actual gemma. the bottom is jasmines designer grade materials premium crade craftsmanship replica. i figured this would make it a little easier for brides to judge the similarities and differences. dare i say it, jasmines looks better design wise to me, but im a sucker for all things fluffy lol. but the fabric on the actual gemma…. oh what i would give to be rich1

I haven’t used Jasmine’s but have decided to order through fabulous u. They have a faceboo page with all of their gowns which they have made for people. With over 9,000 likes. I guess not all those people can be wrong…. can they?

I chose to go with them as they were cheaper than Jasmine’s dearer than dressilyme and offered designer grade fabric included in their cost. My dress will be made using silk taffeta instead of polyester taffeta.

Hi guys,

Well I have had the lastest updates pics for my dress.

Please let me know your thoughts and whether you think there are any changes / requests that I need to let them know about. Their customer service has so far been fab. Be as honest as you like here really. Is anything slightly off? I am not a seamstress so not entirely sure of what adjustments to make. Is the alignment ok? Is the bust area alright? I want to make sure there is a modest amount of cleavage showing. i.e I dont want the top of the dress to completely cover the entire breast area…if that makes sense. You know when you wrap a towel around your body and you totally cover the bust area with a towel….well I dont want the top bit that covered! I want a hint of bosom/cleavage so that it stays sexy elegant…but nothing too over the top. Do you think this neckline will do that?

Anyway, thoughts/observations please ladies! 🙂 Its picture heavy.

Oh…and I asked for the back to have buttons down the back rather than just a hidden zip. The buttons will be coming later on I guess.

I am quite pleased I have to say! They still haven’t finished as they have some work to do on the skirt, the back etc. But so far it looks good I think. Please shout if you notice even the tiniest little thing that should be corrected though. 🙂
