I prefer the Lazaro dress the most.  I think it will look beautiful on you.

I bought a Monique Lhuillier dress on preownedweddingdress.com and had a great experience.  I was able to buy a beautiful dress within my budget that had only been worn once.  I looked into purchasing a sample dress, but many of them were in terrible condition and had been tried on multiple times. Just make sure the dress is a little bit larger so you have room for alterations.  I had to lose a bit of weight to fit into mine and was freaking out before my wedding.  Fortunately I lost just enough weight and didn’t have to get any alterations done at all.

It’s good that you’re going to try on the dress beforehand.  Many of the dresses that I liked in pictures weren’t actually flattering on me.  I made sure to try my dress on at Saks before I purchased it.  Most preowned dresses have been altered, so it’s probably better to check the measurements that they provide instead of the company’s sizing chart.

I love the Lazaro (not just because I’m a Lazaro bride too!)

My dress had the same pleats on it, and photos don’t do them justice.  They’re so pretty!

    Lazaro!

I have never been a fan of the Gemma dress and I much prefer the neckline of the Lazaro.

@misspolite:  I purchased a preowned dress thorugh an escrow service and was able to return the dress.  It ended up costing me a lot because of shipping, escrow fees, insurance to cover the dress from loss/damage/theft while shipping, and duties (as it was cross border).  The dress was not at all what I expected in person and I have found that with a lot of dresses I had picked out to try on before going to a shop..  The dress I ended up getting was a complete surprise and I had never seen it in images before because it is part of her new line that still isn’t released yet.  All I can say is its best to see the dress in person, and if you want to order a preowned dress use an escrow service to protect yourself.

    Good luck!

I personally would rather buy a preowned dress, because you can try on a sample in a store and know exactly what you are purchasing.  Also it has a higher resale value than a replica dress.

    Rivini

I don’t know why, but I love everything Rivini. I think the only exception to that is the dress that Mrs. Camel has. That’s the first dress I’ve looked at that’s made me wonder if that would be a better dress for the big day.  Although Rivini should be outside my budget, but because I bought it used I was able to afford it, and it became my dream dress. I had a great experience buying preowned. I paid via PayPal, I felt more comfortable with them than any escrow place. Plus the fees were more reasonable. I had a great experience with no issues but still advise that buyers (and sellers) proceed with caution.

my vote is fot the lazaro dresa 🙂 very pretty. I agree with PP that it’s probably a better idea to go with a preowned dress versus a replica, especially sinice you will be trying on the real deal.

Another vote for the Lazaro, I like the bottom better and it has a better neckline.
