I’m in love with the Vera Wang Love collection ring, but I am wondering does anyone know of any other rings that have a hidden stone beneath in sapphire or ruby?
Or has anyone designed one to reseamble this collection? How much did it end up costing?
Also, any reviews of this ring would be helpful!
Pictures are truly appreciated!

Zales has a ring that is not by Vera Wang but looks like it would be. I couldn’t find it on their website but I saw it at their store. It doesn’t have a hidden sapphire but it does have a sapphire on each side of the center halo and diamond. I’ve seen on here a Bee who has this ring. It is stunning and if I’d seen this before I got mine I might have gotten it. It has a round center diamond with a cushion shaped halo and a sapphire on each side. I think if you search here for rings with sapphires you might find it.
I found the Vera Wang rings to be lovely but a tad overdone? And really pricey…because you are paying for the name. We paid as much for my ring as the Vera rings but I got a much nicer quality center stone because I shopped around LOTS and got my center separate…then picked a setting. I’ve read lots of success stories of people doing custom though. I would have done that but the couple horror stories I read about it scared me off…lol.

We are now having my ring custom-designed by a local jeweler. We had a Vera Wang, but someone at Zales or Vera Wang Lab swapped out our ring for one of horrible quality (even the sales associate at Zales agreed that’s what happened, and we have filed official complaints).
We are now working with a local and independent designer to make a similar ring with ALL certified diamonds of G color and exceptional cut or better (most Vera Wang’s are I color and they never go about good cut). We will be receiving the computer models of the design in a few days, and they will be bringing in several stones so that we can choose the perfect one for our ring. The ring is actually costing LESS than we originally paid at Zales, we won’t have to send the ring to China for 2 weeks every 6 months for “repair,” and our diamonds and metalwork will be of MUCH higher quality than Vera Wang’s.
Overall this is a MUCH better experience than working with the theives at Zales!
