Hi all – I’ve just had my second fitting with the altered neckline (changing it to sweetheart). I’ve asked her to adjust it again slightly so that it sits perfectly (you can see the pins if you look closely).
I’m not wearing the petticoat here but I think you get the idea?
What do you think?

Very pretty, like a princess. 🙂

verry nice! seems like the pink ribbon is kinda hanging there…will that be attached?

Would you consider removing/moving that ribbon altogether? Pretty dress though.

Love it! it’s so romantic!

I’m playing around the with the ribbon at the moment to see what works best.
If I wear it on the day it will be secured with hollywood tape as I didn’t want to commit to attaching it anywhere.
I have tried it up around the waist but it just didn’t look good on me. It’s the Vera Wang white sash in blush with the flowers removed. I’m thinking of using them for something else as they are the same colour and tie in with my theme.
Thanks for the comments 🙂

I really like the neckline! I am worried if I get the alterations done for myself, I might have a little spillage because the dress is cut low already. It looks so good on you, though 🙂
Did you decide on the low back?

For now the back is left as is. As far as u could tell the dressmaker just cut some material from the centre of the dress, she didn’t alter the height of the neckline , just that centre dip. I much prefer a sweetheart as the other straigher neckline wasn’t that flattering on me. I don’t think you can go far wrong. Maybe have them pin it before they do anything so you can see it first?
