@weddingbelle87:  I’m confused, the $3200 price is listed on the page you sent. A 1.00 carat RB, Very Good-cutF-color , and VS1-clarity Diamond is listed on Blue Nile as $6807 so you’re looking at a decent chunk of money.

Depending on the setting, they’re about $3-4000, and diamond is on top of that.

@weddingbelle87:  That ring is listed on 1910.com as $4550 in platinum. Plus the center stone I provided as an example above. You’re looking at over $11,000.

@weddingbelle87:  Yes, your friend realistically will be looking to spend between 8K and 12K, depending on the quality of the center diamond.  Has she considered a moissy as an alternative?  Get the setting, then upgrade to the actual diamond for an aniversary gift?  Her other option is to get the pix of the setting that she is wishing on, & have a custom made replica created.  Do search around with jewelers/designers before committing…many are just not equipped to deal with the complexity of a Verragio setting 😉

Good luck!!

Yeah, it’d be quite a bit.  I have a Verragio inspired ring, I absolutely adore it.  I knew realistically, I would never want FI to pay that much just for a setting alone, so I found another bee on here who had a gorgeous ring from a jeweler who replicated it for so much cheaper, and I ended up going the same route.  Could not have made a better choice.  The ring looks exactly as the Verragio one it’s based off of, and I got it for less than a 3rd of the price.  If $8-10K is too much, and she doesn’t want to compromise on the centre stone, I would look into going the replicated route.

I have a verragio setting (Insignia 7003) in platinum and the setting alone costs $5800. So depending on your center diamond it will cost very well over $10,000 for a platinum setting and very good quality diamond. My fiance did a lot of research and found the best way for me to get my dream ring is to purchase thru whiteflash=no tax!

even if you have it replicated it’ll still cost you because of the intricate details that will involve a lot of work into making it.  i have the replicated version of the insignia 7060. it is  a .90 princess cut, VVS2, I colored, very good cut diamond and that alone was close to $7,000. the replicated setting was $4000 (H color pave stones) and it’s platinum. since the shanks are twisted, i wanted to matching wedding band and that cost another $3000. i get compliments on my all the time and it has been mistaken for a Verragio many times. the only thing the jewelrer could not exactly replicate was the milgrain detail.
