Very pretty! I like them both. And i don't think the new one is too big at all!
Thanks everyone! I will end up wearing the other one on my right hand! It was cute because my FI proposed again and everything with it so it would feel official. =) I forgot to add this, but feel free to add more ring porn! If anyone has a solitaire they want to share, a pear shaped stone or just feel like showing off their precious. ;)
@MidnightSun: Omg, I do too! At first I thought I wanted to go with a marquise since it is one if my favorite cuts, but then I saw the pear on my finger and I thought it fit me sooo well! =D
@RahlyRah: The first ring is an alexandrite! It is pretty clear and it baffles jewelry stores as to how nice it is, so I figured it would be better to not wear it everyday so it stays nice!
@MrsK2be: Thanks!
@FutureBaker: It is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! Pears are so beautiful & it looks perfect on your hand. :-)
@Mrs.Estep: Thank you so much! You always have the nicest things to say! I thought that too when I saw it.
I really wanted a solitaire after I saw your ring!
@LoveMikey: Thank you so much!
@WolvLove: Thank you!
WOW, they both are beautiful, but my eyes got big at the picture of your new pear! It is beautiful. :) Enjoy!
@Mrs.Estep: Hehe! I am glad it did!
@rachgirl82: Thank you so much!
@jboltz19: Yay! I love seeing rings similar to mine! Your ring is beautiful as well!
What kind of band are you putting with it?
@soyjoy222: Thank you so much! I know I can't stop staring at it! My friends didn't notice my other ring much. I had to show it to them, but once I started wearing the pear, they said it was sparkling in their face. lol!
@burris4: Thank you so much!
I agree and I think the solitaire setting allows it to stand out just that much more!
Both of your rings are lovely - congrats!

My FI and I were discussing rings one day and I began to tell him about a ring I have wanted ever since I was younger. I had always thought I would end up with just a plain solitaire as an e-ring. While looking for a wedding band for my FI and a ring guard for me, we saw many beautiful solitaires and since I really liked them, my FI came up with the idea that he wanted me to upgrade. I agreed with it so I wouldn’t have to have my ring away from me for too long since it is a rare stone(I know, I’m paranoid) and so I could have a ring that would fit better with the bands I really wanted. Plus we were having a lot of issues with the ring, such as diamonds weren’t put in right and things like that. So, here is my first e-ring:
and here is my new e-ring:
Its a .81 carat pear shaped diamond solitaire! It is E colorless and is very sparkly. The pictures do not do it justice. It is a little big, but that is what I get for placing the diamond on my finger to judge without a setting. I love it and I cannot wait to find a wedding band to go with it!
