Just a quick recap: I found my dress in January, SQUEEZED into a size 14 dress to get an idea, even though I am a dress size 24. I still knew it was THE dress, so I ordered it. After taking measurements, I was an Allure size 30 (seriously?) But didn’t care as long as my dress fit me. Well, 5 months later…she’s here! :] Now, I have to ponder the question on if I want any type of bolero or coverage on top. I do not by all means want to have full sleeves or alot of coverage… I just can’t decide whether or not to do something. I do have a lot of scaring on my arms, sholders, and back… that’s the only thing that bothers me. (ps- I will also be wearing my hair in a low pony tail, like pictured, but more gathered)

I don’t think you need anything tbh. You look great.

I don’t think you need anything either, you look amazing.

I think the delicate spaghetti straps really make the dress look romantic! You might lose that if you try and cover them up…

No need for a cover-up or bolero, I think it looks fatastic:) and the skinny straps are in the perfect place on the dress (on some dresses I find skinny straps are oddly close to the center which is why they are often removed but not on this one:) And don’t worry about your arms cause anyone close enough to notice what you mentioned won’t, they’ll just see how gorgeous you will look:) Oh and I also like the low pony on the side, you have nice long hair so show it off!
Oh lastly I think a hair comb or headband that will match the sash/flowers on your dress will look really nice…just a thought;)

I really don’t think you need anything, but if you do want something I would just do a very dainty sheer lace. I think the dress is really flattering on you.

@HelloRaeven: you don’t need anything on your arms, I agree with other posters that it will take away the romantic look the thin straps add.
You look so happy in your dress 🙂

Also wanted to add I totally get the squeezing into a dress way too small & ordering the right size by going oth your gut that it will look good. 0_o tried on a size 4 needed a size 14. Lol

I am not a fan of the jacket look, so another vote for no!

You look lovely as is!
By the way, pattern-makers use a different sizing system. This is why all brides will need to order a different size dress than they use for ready-to- wear.
