Wow, I never noticed this! (Probably because I have it on when I'm running around late for work). I'll definitely have to tune in tomorrow though and check it out. I'm sure once I notice it I won't be able to pay attention to anything else on the show!

But I agree, Matt and Meredith seem to have a power struggle or just a personality struggle. But I do like them both.

I love the Today Show. I don't know how GMA even competes! When I'm in New York, I always think OMG! The Today Show is happening mere blocks from where I stand right now! That's pretty lame considering that probably 1000 awesome things are probably happening right at that moment in New York, as well.
I pretty much watch the Today Show just to catch these horrible awkward moments between Matt and Meredeth though... it's like "The Office" awkward. But real life.

LOL. Whenever I'm in NYC, I always go to the Today Show like a big dork. Also, a few times I've done a fake birthday sign to get on tv. lol

I actually thought the tension had lessened from what it was before. I like Natalie and Ann.
Wow it used to be WORSE? I only started recently having the TV on during the day, so I had no idea! I've been watching for about 4 months or so...
Love Meredith, I think Matt wears his suit pants to high, ann is to sweet and seems fake and Al just needs to go, and so does the other weather guy.

Is it just me, or does Matt Laurer seem like he genuinely hates Meredeth Vieira? It seems beyond friendly banter to me sometimes... I get a little uncomfortable at times for Meredeth because it seems like Matt (and Al, for that matter) TRULY loathes her.
Maybe they miss Katie? I personally love the whole team, especially Ann Curry (she's gorgeous and did you know she's 50?!?!?! WHATTTT????)
I watch it pretty much every day, and I feel like I notice the hatrid a LOT. Anyone?
