MsW-to-MrsM:  Oh Lord…I’m at work so I won’t watch the video, but the story alone is enough!!  #allthefeels

I cried…seems to be my theme of the morning!

Honestly though, I think I’m too jaded because I did have thougts in the back of my mind that I feel somewhat sad for that beautiful young girl. She’s SO young and the rest of her life is not going to be easy. Of course I feel worse for the poor guy! But if she were my daughter, I’d have serious reservations about her marrying someone who couldn’t be a true partner to her. I don’t know the extent of his capacity or injuries so maybe I’m making incorrect assumptions based on visuals.

It would be different now when I’m closer to 30 than 20 and I have made a lifelong commitment to my partner. I’d stay no matter what and a lot of my youth and finding myself period is over. I wouldn’t have been equipped to do that right out of high school (though I thought I was). I understand that everyone is differrent but I really do feel that there are a few layers of saddness to this story.

I saw their story on the news yesterday. So touching, even my DH cried! I feel so bad for this girl who lost her mom to a car accident and then had this happen to her FI by a drunk driver. She is so strong. I hope she continues to have support throughout their marriage. You can tell she truly loves him and he loves her.
