I’m an 6-8-10 in jeans depending on the store (pretty solid 8 at gap) and I wear a M in VS panties. Never bought one of their bathing suits though.

I’d say you’re probably a L or XL. Check the suit – does it say ‘true to size’? A lot of websites lately are posting consumer feedback on the sizing.

I have ordered quite a few VS swimsuits online…I wear a 10/12 in jeans (usually closer to a 12, bigger hips w/ a tapered waist) and I always order a Large bottom and a Medium top (36C).  I have had really good luck ordering swimsuits from them. If you are closer to a 12 I would get a Large.

I hope this helps.

actually I just glanced at their sizing; most of the time when I buy pants or other bottoms I find that the hip measurement is most important for me – my waist is always bigger than they say (like I’ll be an 8 in hip, 12 in waist and 6 in thigh) but the hip size almost inevitably fits like a glove. So if your body is like mine, I’d follow the hip measurement.

Since you wouldn’t have time to return the suit and get a new one before your honeymoon, maybe it would be easier to order one medium and one large and then return the one that doesn’t fit? I know it might cost slightly more because of shipping but it might be worth the peace of mind..

doesn’t say if you have to return by mail; you might be able to return at the mall – that’s what I like to do, haha, buy stuff online (esp on sale) and then return or exchange it at the mall if there’s a problem. most stores will work with you right there to get it fixed and it’s quicker that way. 🙂

ETA – sorry for the double posting.

They’re sizing runs really small imo. I am a street size 14/16 and I ordered a size 16 swimsuit and I could BARELY get it up over my ass. Think sausage casing. not. hot. 🙂

I’m also a 12 in jeans and I have a couple V.S. swimsuites – they are all larges. I don’t know if they are still out, but they had a smaller selection of them in the store this summer. It might be worth checking into just to see if you can try on different sizes. I’ve also had to return stuff before and if you order it online/through the catalog then you have to ship it back – you can’t return it in the store (which is annoying!) Hope that helps!

I have done the order two sizes and return one thing with them before. It worked out perfectly but no you can not return them to the store. They are two separate companies.

That being said if you are mostly a size 12 with a tapered waist (ie you have an hourglass shape) then you are probably fine with a large. If your waist is larger and you have less of a tapered waist then you may want an XL.

I have ordered numerous swimsuits from them, as a size 12, and only had one that was a slim fit and had to be returned.

I hope this helps.

As a size 10 on VS swimsuits I’d order a medium or small, but then again, I have no butt, and my birth control boobs hadn’t grown in yet. I haven’t ordered a swimsuit from then since then though.
