    just taking a poll on how many of you are going with a videographer for your wedding. We are not because we cant afford to pay a photographer & a videographer and would rather have the photos. I wish we were but its too expensive.

    Personally my FI and I discussed the possiblity of us videotaping the wedding, but we decided that a) we would feel weird and b) we like to wax nostalgic and sometimes embellish which a video would only disprove Tongue out

    I've heard reasonings both ways and in the end I've heard many say they wish they would have done it.

    I'm definately one who thinks to the future of looking back and I want every good, bad, ugly, and funny moment of the day caught as possible! I'm willing to devote much of the budget to ensuring that.

    @AzinAugust That's hilarious, I love it. :)

    We're doing one, and I'm in love with her work. I'm looking forward to watching it an obscene number of times.

    I want to have my ceremony video taped. I think it would be a nice memory to watch later on from the guests point of view...

    We really werent going to have one at all and then I broke down like a couple weeks ago and booked one.  I was scared I would regret not having one. Ah my fiance is so patient with me and my last minute adds :)

    We just recently booked ours! When we first started planning it wasn't in the budget, but we thought about it and found a way to make it work.

    We weren't going to...but then we found out that my FI's grandparents aren't going to be able to make it to the wedding.  And I am really not a fan of the handycam tapings, I just feel like you can't see or hear anything.  So we have spent the last week meeting with a few.  We have one more meeting next week that I am really excited about.

    I have kind of come around to videography being key and now I want a really sweet one!  So we are making it work in our budget!

    I really want a videographer, but he is very against hiring one. He feels like it will be intrusive etc... I think I have just accepted it at this point!

    I have never enjoyed seeing myself on video and honestly the videographer would stick out waay too much in our small gathering and make everyone nervous. I know we'd end up missing people because they would literally hide whenever the camera came near them. Plus, I'd rather look at pictures. I'm not all that uber nostalgic...can't even watch videos from when I was little cause I get too embarrassed even if nobody else is watching.
