Hi girls. I am wondering if anyone knows of any good videographers who are not ridiculously expensive? My DJ company charges a minimum of $1600 (3 hours worth of filming) which is INSANE to me… I am looking for someone who will do just a couple hours for $500 or less. Is this completely unheard of?
Please let me know if you have any good recommendations. We would love to be able to look back at the video, but also don’t want to have debt from our wedding.
Thank you in advance!

@kenzieb07: I am using Matt Stern for my videographer for my wedding next April. I think he books at about $600.00, not including tip. He was the best price and came with recommendations by friends. His email is [email protected]. He will send you out a sample wedding dvd so you can see his style before you book with him. Hope this helps!

I can’t really find any other mentions of Matt Stern on any other wedding websites, so I figured I’d chime in here, because this is where I found out about him. He’s great! He videoed our wedding and we just got the DVDs a week or so ago, and it’s beautiful! He filmed everything: us taking all our photos, the ceremony, speeches, messages from guests, and the first dances. I originally was hesitant to do the messages from guests part, because I didn’t want to put people on the spot, but it turned out to be our favorite part of the video! One of my guests had gotten married the weekend before, and opened his speech with “Wow. This is great. I really wish we’d had this.” It’s so fun to hear what our friends had to say, but more importantly, our family members and grandparents spoke, and that’s something we’ll always cherish. Matt’s prices are half of what The Knot budgeter alloted me for videography, and he’s great to work with. I highly recommend him!
