Are there any car clubs in your area? In my town there are a bunch of car shows (like in the Wendy's parking lot) during the summer months. Usually the owners mill about admiring each others cars. Perhaps you can find someone there that would be willing to drive you. Those guys (of which my dad is one) love to get compliments on their cars, so I'm sure you can strike up a conversation and ask them if they are willing.
Where are you getting married?
I'm getting married in Hopewell Junction and our reception is in Garrison. I don't live in the area anymore so I'm not sure about car club events. I did look up some car clubs a couple months back and found a phone number, but no email and I haven't gotten around to calling. It's definitely a route to try though.
We are so on the same page its scary. Let me know what you find out becuase i'm looking for the same thing. Maybe we can get a better deal if we book togther? Also what rental companies in the are have them? I feel like all of the limo places in the HV are so cheesy...great for the prom but not wedding.
Jim was at Cat Rock on Friday and said the grounds look better than ever! So that's good news. Now if we can only make a pack with Mother Nature for no rain....
Ha - I'll let you know...good idea. I'm not a big limo fan so I think we're just transporting our wedding party in SUVs/their own cars.
Hank's Dad actually has a vehicle he rents out (it's red and I think you can see it in the photos on their website), but I think it was $500.
I also saw them here, but outside of my budget:

I have a family friend who does this on the side. His car is really great. If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to put you in touch!
Here's a picture of the car:
I am getting married at Osborn Castle and am interested in renting the car for my wedding. I would only use it for pictures and for a 5 minute drive x 2. How much does your family friend charge for this? And does he/she rent it out in Garrison, NY? Thanks!
Could you find someone on Craigslist who has a vintage car? Try a rally or something like that and see if someone would accept $200 or something! Email some car clubs. I bet someone would like a quick buck! And you're saving yourself some, too! Vintage cars are so cool, i wish we knew someone =]
Hi Groomzilla - I'm getting married at Osborn Castle too and am using Rosychicklet's friend's vintage car. So excited! When's your wedding date?
Rosychicklet - I love the church - so cute!
I wonder if you put an ad somewhere, like in a hot rod type of place ... if anyone would be willing to let you rent it for the time you need it? Hmm, I don't know how that would work.
My dad actually collects classic cars, I wonder if people do this ...
Beautiful idea though!

Hi Everyone - I'd like to rent a vintage car to transport me and the groom from the church to our reception. Anyone know where we can get a reasonably priced one? Most places I've seen are expensive ($500 - $600). We would only need it for about 2 hours and was hoping there might be someone who owns one (not a rental company per se) that would be interested in helping us out for about $200.
