I wish we could get a vintage car. We are having our ceremony and reception at the same place, therefore there won't be a need for us to rent any transportation. Bummer , but one less expense to worry about.
That would be an awesome idea. DF's dad works at a Cadillac dealership, though, so we're just going to have to "settle" with a Caddy.

I've struggled to find this in Sarasota, but my planner found an expensive Blue vintage convertible for $700 out of Tampa. Well out of my budget though! Contemplating renting from Hertz's "Fun" collection out of Tampa airport and asking a sober relative to drive.
Haha - good thought! I'll have to look into Hertz. You mentioned blue vintage convertible. My dad actually used his in one of my friends' weddings last weekend. He has a 1967 Mustang Convertible. He may consider being your driver if you're interested. :) Isn't this adorable??

what do vintage cars cost for an evening?
what does a "FUN" car mean? are there certain ones that fill that definition or is just a great car?
Our 1948 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce is $135/hr driver included. We rented it for 2hrs and with tax and gratuity we paid $303.
My sister simply asked around in our church congregation and ended up getting connected to a friend of a friend kind of thing who had a fantastic collection of old cars. I would be careful though because I knew another girl who used her cousins and the groomsmen ended up having to push the bride and groom away from the wedding haha
I would love to have vintage car for my wedding. But I cant seem to find one who rents them in Mississippi
@Carmen2009 - I wish we could find one in that price range! We found one place that rents a Rolls Royce and it was WAY out of our price range!
We're planning on heading to one of the cruise nights in town (where all the people bring their vintage cars out) and asking around to see if anyone was free the day of our wedding. I like the idea of asking around at church though!
