I currently have a etsy store selling mainly vintage goods, and recently left my job to focus on that since we are financially comfortable right now and I was over my job…
Anyway, I’m currently planning my wedding and have always wanted to have table settings to consist of vintage china, and while I’ve looked around I’ve seen only a few places mostly in NYC, and surrounding areas (i’m on long island). So I started thinking maybe I could provide that service and start renting out vintage china and items for table displays–milk glass, vases, vintage tins and picture frames etc…I could also offer a service to set up and design a display/table setting..
This is obviously going to be something that requires a lot of time and fair amount of money to buy enough china and accessories to rent out for a wedding so before I do so, I wanted to hear what you ladies think. Do you think, if it was affordable, that it would be something you would/would have considered for you wedding? What other things would you want to see and have offered from a rental company like this? Any opinnions and options, good or bad, i’d love to hear!
