What do you think about this? The yellow color could be gold or yellow, depending on your preferences.

ETA: Disclaimer, I have no idea what Edwardian colors would actually be. I just felt like these could easily be incorporated into vintage decor!

VictorianChick:  when I think of Edwardian style, I think of the muted dusty colors, like Wedgwood blue, sage or eucalyptus green, dusty orange etc.  I think you could Definetly use the colors you love, just use more “vintage versions of them.

Lavender and a mint, or parisian blue would be fantastic edwardian colors, and a creamy/buttery white as well.

If you want more “fall” colors that go with the edwardian theme, then a light buttery yellow, and a pale washed out sagey green color would be perfect.

The Edwardian time period was more than just shades of pink.

Check out this beautiful teal evening gown

You can find almost any color in this time period – they did like looking beautiful and colorful.

Good Luck on your wedding!!

VictorianChick What elements are you more apt to use in your decor?  Will you use gold, silver, what shade of blue do you like best?  If you like the venue, I think that has rooms that look a light yellow/ butter color. They have 90 green padded chairs. I think you could possibly bring in gold and taupe and rust orange?  what kinds of florals do you like?  Maybe once you decide on your venue, you will find your color scheme.  I bought the rust colored satin chair sashes from Weddinglinensdirect.com.  They have many colors. Maybe you could go to a paint store and play with paint samples. Or go to a fabric store so you can play with colors and textures. That might help.

Agreed with PP – I recommend blue, ivory, and gold/brown.

VictorianChick:  weddinglinens direct.com has those colors  they have inexpensive but gorgeous linens. Check out the Crushed taffeta.  was there a reason you don’t want to rent the 1910 house in Albany? It is the historical building with the lovely woodwork you would love  if you want to,  I’m sure that you could easily do this Edwardian style wedding there for under $6000   I could help you with this more if you would private message me.  Or I could likely help you with ideas for the venue you are looking for.  i may have found you a couple of photographers that would fit your budget. Possible places for gowns, shoes & jewelry but I’m not going to post everything here.
