I have a big bridal party (7 girls) and am trying to figure out what to get them as their gifts. I am having a shabby chic wedding so I am not requiring that my girls spend a lot of money. I am letting them choose their own dresses (not traditional bridesmaids dresses) from modcloth.com so the most they would spend on a dress is $60 with no alterations. I am letting them where flats of their choice (we are getting married on a baseball field) and am not requiring them to get their hair or makeup done professionally.
That being said, I also don’t want to spend a ton on gifts for them. Our wedding is a shabby chic/vintage theme but at a baseball field so their will be vintage baseball touches. Any cool ideas for affordable but cute bridesmaids gifts!

what about some cute vintage baseball tees? you could get them printed up with their names and it wouldn’t cost that much–or I’m sure you could DIY it. then put them in super cute packaging with some cracker-jacks or perhaps beer or wine? I guess it depends on each girls’ style, but i love those 3/4 sleeve baseball shirts with the colored sleeves and i know they do them “worn” in ladies so they will fit and not look boxy. Hope that helps!

i too am having a vintage shabby chic wedding…….i am buying my bridesmaids a really pretty mirror compact for there purses.. there are some lovely old fashioned designs. i have chosen floral ones, but different designs.
i have also bought them their wedding day jewellery, i wanted them to wear the same and didnt expect them to pay for them, crystal bead necklace, bracelet and earrings. and bought a relatively cheap little trinket box to put them in.

Though it doesn’t necessarily have to be baseball themed I think the baseball shirt idea is cute. In your wedding colors with a fun design
oh and cracker jack purses from etsy
Or you could just do cute bags or necklaces like most do. A lovely vintage style necklace would be fun.

How about this:
You can buy the image for the transfer for only $3.99, and you can get inexpensive tote bags and the transfer paper at michaels/ac moore. You could stuff the bags with things like cracker jack, peanuts in the shell, the popcorn holders (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1143&bih=508&q=popcorn+holder&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=14975173621064079387&sa=X&ei=2cYZTu2qK-ne0QGTiPmWBQ&ved=0CIQBEPMCMAAt) with bags of popcorn, a movie about baseball (ex. fever pitch- baseball/romance), a baseball hat, baseball earrings (http://www.etsy.com/listing/54207320/handmade-baseball-stud-earrings), big league chew gum, baseball shirt, and of course a letter thanking them for being a part of your special day.
