My diamond was in a setting like that originally. I don’t have photos though. We probably would have kept the setting had it not been in such bad shape.

I think that a ring in that style would look lovely on your hand! I love vintage rings, I think they’re elegant.

My sister has something similar to the picture and is beautiful! The carat weight and all of that stuff doesn’t matter because even though her diamonds are small, it’s still a very impressive ring just like the one you’ve got pictured!

brilliant earth has a lot of these – they’re actual vintage (not replicas).

I have a .1 carat vintage illusion head from the 1930’s. It’s a size six, might help ya 😉 it was $295 and I adore it!!

@vintagevibes:  EraGem is my favourite vintage jewlery site. They’ve got some similar to this right now.

This is my current favourite, which isn’t the illusion setting but still amazing

And my favourite illusion setting one:

@One_Day_Ill_Bee_Mrs_G:  thanks!! I found it on etsy, total winner!!  I have yet to see anything anywhere that I like quite as much. And the price can’t really be beat 😉

@vintagevibes:  I really like the one you posted, I love this style!

I don’t have this yet, I purchased it and am super pumped to get it. This is one of the seller’s pics, it’s a size 5 3/4 and the diamond is approx 0.10 carat.

@vintagevibes:  I bought myself a ring very similar when I was 19.  It was only $250 at the local antique store and when I brought it home my grandma thought I had taken it from her jewelry box.  Turns out my grandma’s engagement ring from my real grandpa looks exactly like the one I fell in love with and bought.  The diamond is very small but the setting makes it look bigger.  My engagement ring has a 0.4ct diamond for comparison.

@vintagevibes:  This is very similar to what you’ve posted. It was my Gram’s engagement ring from the 1940’s. It has a matching band. It’s yellow gold with a white gold illusion head. The center diamond is probably around .1-.2 ct. Sorry these are bad pictures. It is really hard to photograph. It’s definitely very beautiful!
