If you are serious about real vintage (which I was) you can try going to http://rubylane.com
Go to the jewelry section and then to vintage. There are lots of affordable pieces there or on eBay. I ended up with a Miriam Haskell pearl necklace (actually from Bel Canto on etsy) and am probably going to get another piece to match it.
Make sure that if you do go vintage, that you do your research. You have to know about the designer and the condition. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Vintage is not the easy route, but for me it has been inexpensive and rewarding!
www.1928.com is a great website for art deco jewelry.

Hello Everyone,
Since you are all so chic and resourceful, I would like your help. I am looking for a vintage, art deco inspired rhinestone hair comb to adorn my soft updo as well as a pair of medium chandelier earrings of the same style. I have searched etsy and ebay so far, which produced some hopefuls. Do you have any suggestions of other websites to browse? Thanks in advance!
