Alas! I've fallen IN LOVE with the dresses at Stephanie James Couture, but they're out of my price range, and now my heart is a little bit broken. Does anyone have any suggestions for similar vintage inspired dresses?

My dress is from Casablanca and I love that it has some vintage flair. It's from the Spring 2007 Collection, style 1860. It looks TOTALLY different on than it does on the model!

oh! I also am getting a lace dress. I am really tempted by AC's, but I have my heart set on a La Sposa that is on sale. What is your price range, and maybe that would help? I also found a nice watters off the rack with a lace halter. I was shocked that both dresses I liked were trumpet....I think they actually make me look better, which I am not a tiny girl, so be open minded to the different styles....sometimes they look completely different in lace than they would in satin...please let me know what you find, but La Sposa/Pronovias has a lot of lace options...good luck!

I'm also a lace bride and love vintage style. Cannotwait mentioned a lace Watters dress which is exactly what I got (its the same dress as Miss Gingerbread wore to her recent wedding, which you can see a picture of in her recent blog entries). There were several Watters style in full lace that had a vintage feel, they have them on their website and they are around $1200 full price.

The most expensive dress is $599-- unless you have her make a custom dress, which is more expensive.

I have not bought a dress from her, but I've heard great things. I'm considering ordering from her.

And if you don't have to have a dress that is a "wedding dress", Siri special occasion dresses have a very "vintage" feel, and a large selection of fabrics.
