Purty rings!  @Girasole:  I think that could definitely be your great-grandma’s e-ring – I think those illusion settings are pretty old.

I’ve posted this plenty but what the hell.  My e-ring that was my great-grandmother’s and then my grandmother’s, and my wedding band that was also my grandmother’s.  Love wearing all the family history on my hand!!!

@Girasole:  I have SO’s great aunt’s engagement ring — it look a lot like yours! 🙂

This is my grandmother’s original wedding set (probably a size 3 or 4 at most!) and it looks really similar in style.  I’d bet that’s the engagement ring!

@Girasole:  It’s not (it’s all yellow) but it does actually look that way in pictures! I love both of yours! Lucky!

@Girasole:  thanks! 🙂  It’s not as big as it looks in that hand picture (0.7 carat center stone), but I looooove the style so much and the size is perfect for me.

@Girasole:  Thanks! Oh, and I wear it on my right hand — I just put it on my left for picture taking purposes. Here is my e-ring and band 🙂

This is my grandmother’s engagement ring! She gave it to me recently along with her wedding band.
