Beautiful!! I think it looks like its over a carat maybe 1.2-1.5..its hard to tell in the pic but it looks like its either an oec or omc..it looks pretty white ecspecially for being an antique diamond..im going to guess somewhere between an H-J ..your lucky to have such an amazing stand in ring..its gorgeous

BWLE:  Gorgeous!

It looks around 1ct/slightly over 1ct to me; hard to tell because of the setting.

Wouldn’t even like to guess at the other specs, esp from a photo, just wanted to say it’s really lovely!

BWLE:  It’s GORGEOUS!! Like PP’s have said, I’d be willing to bet that the center stone is over a carat. I wear a 4.5 and have center stone that is slightly over a carat, and that stone is bigger! It’s awesome!!! I think it’s a 1.5 🙂

BWLE:  OMG that’s gorgeous!! Lucky you!! I mean, unlucky you that you have to send your ring out to get sized but wow that’s an awesome stand-in. I’m terrible at this game but I think the center is bigger than a carat, maybe 1.5-1.7ct or so. Beautiful!

BWLE:  yes they are typically warm partially because of the cut but also back then the rough was warm so colorless diamonds were extremely rare…which now they have found better diamond mines with whiter rough.

Wow, wow, wow! That is STUNNING! And definitely over a carat in weight. Heck, if I had to guess, I’d say it was over a 1.5 carats. And if this is the stand-in/back-up ring, then I’d love to see the real e-ring!

I’d bet that ring is worth a lot of money. That looks like more that a carat by quite a bit. It’s insane to see such a modern vintage ring. it’s gorgeous.

BWLE:  Wow! That is a knock out stunner!!! The setting is timeless and so so gorgeous. Those sapphires! What a lovely thing to have in your family. I’d love to hear what the appraisal says if you get one, I’m sure that ring is very valuable!
