My wedding dress is a relatively plain white halter style dress with a v-neckline (I wish I had a picture!). I would love to turn it into more of an overall vintage look, but am not sure how to do that. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside, so I am not looking for a long veil. On the flip side, I don’t know that I’m hip enough for a birdcage veil Any suggestions on veil or other accessories, or websites to check out for ideas?

What about a 50s style short(ish) bubble veil? It has a bit of poof at the top. Super cute with a down hairstyle.

Have you considered going sans veil? I’ve seen some very elegant and timeless pics of brides with no veil, but instead, a beautiful hair piece (white flowers/feathers/swarovski’s) that would otherwise look like too much with a veil… but they are beautiful by themselves. You can find some great ones that look ‘vintage’ too!

what about a mantilla with lace? those are very vintage looking. a birdcage was my first pick too but when you look at vintage brides they’re wearing longer veils.
