Hmm...I actually have two- both functional... One is a Royal I believe and the other, i am not sure i will have to check. I would sell one to you but I will warn you it would cost an arm and a leg to ship (heavy!!!) but if you want one that works I do have one. I normally see them at shops for anywhere from 150-300$ depending on how good of shape they are in. I have an obsession with all things wriitng related so I bought the Royal because it is the same model Hemingway wrote on. The other one I picked up before that just cause i thought it was cool. I would be willing to part with one of them if you are interested PM me and we can discuss. I can check into the actual cost of shipping for you( I live in texas).
Have you checked Craigslist? or Ebay? Or you could even put a "wanted" ad under the CLASSIFIEDS tab above....
This may be an obvious quesiton on my end, but have you checked in with family members and family friends? I was going to incorporate a vintage typewriter into my wedding (but plans changed) and we were going to use my grandmother's typewriter - it's in mint condition and was just sitting in the back of a closet! Ask around, you may be in luck!
