There are lots of vineyards up in North Georgia. I don't know the names of any of them off the top of my head, but Im sure a Google search will turn up some good results :)
I'm getting married at The Chimney's at Big Canoe in Jasper, they also have a church there though & I want to say two lakes.. Its absolutely gorgeous there! I know there are few wineries around Stone Mountain, I think & then up towards the GA/TN border.
You should check out the Botanical Gardens in Athens, they have the cuttest chapel there and really pretty areas surrounding the campus.
You should try some of the Wineries in the Frogtown area of N. Georgia (Frogtown, Blackstock, or Three Sisters).
Vecoma at Yellow River might be a good fit or Chateau Elan Winery. Best of luck!
when I read your post, I immediately thought of Chota Falls, go google it and check it out!
Chota Falls is amazing, Day Chapel at the Athens Botanical Gardens is fabulous too! Both great choices.

Hi, I just got engaged and have decided to start looking for the perfect spot! I really would love to get married in a small church with a lot of charm. I am looking for something rustic perhaps in the country and would like to have a reception near some body of water. I am also open to vineyards. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas at all!
