In a couple days I’ll be visiting my friend in Atlanta! I was wondering if there were any things that were must-see (for hopefully not too expensive). It’s my first time! And I’m thinking about moving there for a job down the road 🙂 I will be there for 3 whole days Friday-Sunday

Stone mountain, the aquarium is a must, the world of coca-cola. There are also tons of great restaurants in midtown and buckhead.

I second the World of Coke!

@sweetgirl1234: I second Stone Mountain (definitely climb to the top, or ride the gondola if it’s too hot to climb). Consider checking out possible neighborhoods (even a driving tour of some of the better parts of town), and eat at lots of local restaurants! You’ll have a blast.

@sweetgirl1234: What everyone said, Aquarium, World of Coke is right across the way, Olympic Park. Atlanta is a truly nice, friendly city. Just take a walk and enjoy it.

Piedmont Park (in Midtown) is also very pretty, with walking paths, a lake/pond, and it’s great for people and dog watching.

Thanks bees for all the suggestions!!! It’s crazy how fast that time goes, especially when it’s so humid and hot! Felt like al I did was wlak for 3 days!
We went to Stone mountain…lightshow, went to the top, ropes course…so glad we went! WIsh I could have spent more time there!
Also went to a Braves game (I love baseball so this was probably my highlight). Also hung in the downtown area and went to Olympic park/world of coke/CNN.
Thanks again yall! Love the city! 🙂
