Vistaprint makes great products. This is not a vent about anything they make. Just a caution for all my fellow bees and groupon users! Do not place your order on a Saturday or outside their customer service hours!!! I just made cute thank you collage mugs for my family, and used the groupon. After I placed my order I got a “bonus” offer screen that gave me a deal on 10 more! Sweet!
I clicked order, and expected them to go into my cart, where I could use another coupon… and it was ONE CLICK ORDERING! Nothing said this and I’m now paying $127 instead of $32!!!
Their phone line is closed.Their online chat is closed. Their emails will be responded to in 48 hours. Their FAQ section states orders processing can not be changed, and no refunds, just credit. Crap- I’ll get them when they open Monday.
Wait a minute, my order just changed from “In Progress” to “Processing”. You’re supposed to be CLOSED!!!! <wail!>
I’m really hoping this can be fixed on Monday morning. …. I just want cute, funny mugs for my coffee addicted family, and not this stress….
End rant. Begin words of advice:
Please be careful when you order, and place your order when customer service is open 🙂 Plus realize that the “Bonus” is One Click Ordering!

@H2MrsDj: There’s hope! I had something similar happen to me this week. I ordered my save-the-dates on Wednesday using a groupon, but didn’t notice until the next day that I was charged for the full amount. I called up customer service and they applied the groupon code to my order and issued me a refund for the difference. And I didn’t even have to fight for it; the woman offered that solution right off the bat. Hopefully they can do the same for you.

I was offered 10 more wedding invites/RSVP cards/envelopes as well & took it (I was also using the groupon coupon). If it makes you feel any better, I called their customer service line a few days later when I realized I’d been charged for shipping. They said it was because I live in Canada & the free shipping was only to the States, but they also refunded my shipping charges “as a courtesy” right away with no problems. So they do seem pretty easygoing – good luck!!

You have to be careful with that last screen on Vistaprint. It doesn’t say anything about one click ordering, but that’s what it is. Whenever that screen pops up for me, I always make sure to pick the option that doesn’t add the extra stuff to my order. They really should make that less confusing.

Freak out over! I had spoken with my Fiance last night, he got me to relax. I was deciding what to do with the extra mugs this morning when I got an email… on Easter… from Vistaprint. They are refunding my money, and are sending the mugs they already made for free. I’m impressed! I’ll be using them again, just making sure to not click on the bonus!

They’re awesome! I used a Groupon to order the out-of-town totes for our guests. The actual # I needed wasn’t an option, but I talked to their customer service (chatted, actually) and they adjusted the order # for me. The bags are great and I got a fantastic deal. That’s also who printed our Save the Dates! Love them!
