how complicated is what you’re doing?

I think that the upload your own tool on vistaprint actually has a way to add font and stuff… I’ve never actually used it myself, I’ve only looked at it. Have you tried just uploading the image and then playing around with it on vistaprint?

I created my STD in Adobe Photoshop and it wasn’t hard at all but I use it often so it’s easy for me to say that.  Wink  I’m sure the trial has limited capabilities which is probably a good thing for you so that you don’t get overwhelmed with choices.  It can be difficult to use.  How complicated are you making it?  Are you using a photo?

we did ours through vistaprint and i loved them!!  (link below to see a picture if you’re interested) we did the magnets and the postcards to attach the magnets to for mailing (though it was all put in an envelope).  i did a mix of uploading a little design and using their fonts and playing around with the image in vistaprint.  it wasn’t hard at all and i didn’t need to use photoshop…

it took me a little while to figure it out, but vistaprint has a lot more options than you think for designing your own stuff. If you choose a basic design, even one that just has a space for a picture and nothing else on it, you can go into the more advanced design and add more images, text, change font colors, etc. Depending on what you want, you may already be able to just use Vistaprint and not have to use photoshop.
