Need to pick out 3 soups for our menu.
Little background info : We aren’t having any vegetarians, nobody with dietary concerns as far as we know, but we will make special arrangements for anyone who does. Buffet style dinner.
Also, if you have any recommendation please feel free to add! We do prefer that the soups are somewhat chunky though.
Other menu items as follows :
Salad Bar – With assorted dressings & toppings available.
Cherry Apple Almond
breadsticks [a bowl of them at every table]
roasted chicken [for topping entrees]
cheese pizza sticks [for the kids]
Twice Baked Lasagna
wedding cake & dessert buffet
Our late night snack will be a nacho bar.

I voted for Italian Wedding because you are having Italian entree’s. Plus, it’s your wedding so why not!

@jenilynevette: I like soups with lots of veggies and with meat pastas that would be especially good. So the savory vegetable is probably great, but if you want to keep the Italian theme you could do minestrone! Since your wedding is in October, a smooth roasted squash/pumpkin soup might be yummy too! Because your having cheesy pastas, I’d stay away from creamy soups or soups that also have pasta/noodles in them.

I was going to be helpful! And then I read “nacho bar” and now ALL I can think is “Mmmm… Want nachos…”
Anyway, I think I voted Italian wedding soup! Because that’s the best wedding soup ever.

@kenziemt: I’ve actually never had a squah or pumpkin soup before! I’ll ask around and see what family members think, or try to find some to try it.
@Miss Wellies: Thanks for your vote!
@starfish0116: I’ll check out the baked potatoe & cheese soup!
@BrandNewBride: Lol! Nomnomnom nachos!
